To make our opening sequence appear professional and follow the conventions of the gritty realism genre our group had to create a production company logo. We wanted to ensure that our logo portrayed the British stereotype and so we completed a sketch that consisted of a tea cup. 'Cup of Tea Productions' was the name that we decided best suited our logo and the genre of our film.
To make the logo appear polished we then created a digital copy which would improve the aesthetic of our opening sequence. However, the Photoshop programme that I used wouldn't allow us to completely remove the background and so the film looked unprofessional as shown below.

We then created a new digital copy which was much better but still didn't seem to work within our opening sequence due to the colouring.
We decided that we would physically act out our production company's logo as it made our opening sequence look more like a film within the gritty realism genre. We used a black curtain as the background and wrote on a tea cup to act out our idea.

For our film's title, 'Sane', which was potentially going to be called 'Parallels' I completed a rough digital image of how we wanted our film to be introduced.
Although we changed the name of the film the image is still relevant because it's what we aimed to create. However, we wanted to actually film a mirror smashing with 'Sane' etched into it which we have now used within our final opening sequence.
